PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (PHP) & INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP)

Our Psychiatry department supports a large dynamic behavioral health program consisting of both inpatient and outpatient adult psychiatric care. We are staffed by a clinical mix of experienced professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, licensed counselors, mental health counselors, recreation therapists, art therapists and mental health workers.

The Saint Anthony Hospital Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) are first and foremost group therapy programs. Innovative groups such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, art therapy, stress reduction and role play are offered in addition to more traditional group therapy and psycho-education.

We develop individualized treatment plans for each client, provide one-on-one case management and also provide individual therapy as needed. Clients attend 3-5 days per week depending upon program choice, symptom severity and scheduling concerns.

Many of our former clients have been able to use these programs to learn skills that have allowed them to reduce psychiatric hospitalizations and in many cases, go on to Vocational Training programs or other ventures.

Program Hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Staff are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
